This Editor-in-Chief had a vision for a small publication of curated photography content. To immediately convey the visual essence of this publication, Isis presented fōtō -  the sonic pronunciation and spelling of photo.

During the design process Isis conducted an in-depth reader persona analysis and trend investigation to develop a balanced editorial layout.

While fōtō desired solely to produce visual content, Isis recommended the publication engage its reader with short story excerpts and editorial context. Therefore, the design contained a healthy balance of narrative opportunities that supported the visual layout. The brand’s social media design accentuated fōtō's purpose to provide visual experiences by highlighting captivating moments within the publication.
